for something awesome! This month we have an interesting case for you: D.O.R.C.

D.O.R.C. is a Dutch company specialised in the fabrication of instruments and equipment for ophthalmic surgery.
Following up on our corporate redesign case we've shared earlier, we set out to redo DORC's
global website.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Focal point of the new global website is the extensive product range. Every product is easy to find and presented with the
attention it deserves.
|
|
|
|
|
|
An innovator design style needs a mix of focus & space and detailed product presentations, where flagship equipment takes
the spotlight.
|
|
|
The products section is the beating heart of the website. DORC has a huge product portfolio which needed to be browsed and
searched quickly. Providing both ease of navigation and a mental map of the product range.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Every product has it's own page with detailed information, buying options and related materials.
|
|
|
|
Throughout the website a 'floating cards' layout has been implemented for easy browsing.
|
|
|
|
Thinking form a surgeon's perspective, the whole website is responsive so that even if they're in surgery they can check
all necessary infomation.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Beyond products, the site serves as a support and inspiration platform for the whole medical team and support staff.
A custom module enables customers to put together and download a custom set of product sheets
and brochures, and even live surgery videos are facilitated through the website.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Awesome news! DPDK has been nominated for the Agency of the Year Awwwards. It's a great honor to be nominated for the second
time. It means we'll be going to Berlin in February! Go team DPDK!

GGD Amsterdam is renewing their SOA Poli. To help improve the communication online and in the Poli, we created animated instruction
videos to visualize the process of taking swabs yourself.
